I've been living near Glasgrow for a while now, and consequently, I thought "Now that we have a town for giants, why not a tiny city?"  scratch  Of course, Insanity got that idea too, which is why we have Insania.  (Great place to visit btw. #friendvertisement)  But that never stopped me, as Insania was another suburb/village style town.  So I have been working on construction of a tiny metropolitan area for the server.  So far, it already has a mostly functional batport (yay spawn eggs for being public so I could use them Very Happy ) and a x2 compatible tp port that still needs to have redstone added and the like.  Neutral  (There are reasons I made it x2 compatible even though its a .125 city.  Happy Cia )  The one thing I need more of is actual "houses", which are actually .125 size skyscrapers.  (And they're almost as tall as a x8, for an idea of scale.  Oh, all the Godzilla parodies we could film... Godzilla )  Also, I'm planning on making the regional currency iron bars, but that still needs to be approved by Cia.

And cool, I can provide all your shop needs.  Smile
Just list what and where, and I can set up the cheese shops for them.  You can use orange wool to simulate command blocks, so that way you can design the stores/atm, and I can simply add in the commands.  Smile

And yep, iron regional currency approved! Each iron bar is worth 2 cheese, so the sell value would be 1 cheese... that sounds fair enough for people wanting small denominations.  Smile

Okay, I'll be in and out all day to start setting up the goods for this place, both the teleporter and the shops/atm's you need.

I will probably also at some point want to create a Tinies store to buy items useful for them, probably called Gnome Depot. This not only includes the staple slime, rods and sticks, but also hard to get items like ferns. ^^

Well, we'd have to talk about a location for that store, because otherwise everything's already been planned out as far as building goes. Hopefully I'll be on at a good time ^^.

Well I think I've added all the shops you need, so my job here is done. I would strongly encourage you to be a little more flexible next time, or at least make it clear before asking my help that you don't want any tweaks done to your structures.

Oh, its alright, the tweaks you did make i really like. ^^

And I never said we COULDN"T add "Gnome Depot", I just said I'd have to plot out some extra space. Surprisingly, I had the exact same problem with the bank, and I managed to get that in, so why not a micro sized store of other goods?

Well, it's been a while since I've provided a major update to Micropolis, but here I am.  Razz

I finished the first half of Micropolis' skyscrapers, and they already provide the feel of the big city. The crazier part is that they're ALL OCCUPIED.  I never expected Micropolis to be this popular, thanks a lot!  Very Happy

In other Micropolis news, I successfully managed to implement beds into the towers... it took me a while to figure those out.  confused  But I am really glad I did this, because now people can actually use them as their primary homes!   Wink

Well, I have good news Smile , good-ish news Neutral , and bad news No .

The good news is that there are new items in the shop under the airport, including MegaCookies and 3D Maneuver Gear!  (Ofc we did have to remove the blades, but hey, they still make awesome grappling hooks. Razz )

The good-ish news is that Micropolis is officially filled up.  Shocked  I still have to finish building the last 3 towers, but those are all taken up now.

The bad news is I'm not sure how to expand on Micropolis, or even if I should.  Micropolis has been drastically overshadowing Insania under its "massive" towers, and Insania has way more houses than Micropolis might ever have anyway.  It would be a good idea to check that town out if you are looking for a good tiny home.
