Looking fora new laptop

Post by mtmagic on Mon Aug 11, 2014 11:07 am

I have been looking into getting a laptop. I recently have been finding Linux inconvenient for both schoolwork and gaming. I found this one laptop that is around my budget
I have no clue if it is any good or not so I just need suggestions. I can't spend over 400$. .-.

Hmm, well gaming I can understand, but how is it inconvenient for schoolwork?

Well if you're on a budget I would probably recommend dual-booting, installation, or virtualization of Windows 7 or XP on your existing machine before you spend 8x as much money on a new computer. But if you really wany a new wintel machine, then any one will do so long as its below your budget... you've used one Windows 8 machine, you've used them all. Wink
