Looking fora new laptop Empty Looking fora new laptop

I have been looking into getting a laptop. I recently have been finding Linux inconvenient for both schoolwork and gaming. I found this one laptop that is around my budget http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/productID.289565700?srccode=cii_17588969&cpncode=32-388577074-2&WT.mc_id=US_datafeed_Google
I have no clue if it is any good or not so I just need suggestions. I can't spend over 400$. .-.

Hmm, well gaming I can understand, but how is it inconvenient for schoolwork?

Well if you're on a budget I would probably recommend dual-booting, installation, or virtualization of Windows 7 or XP on your existing machine before you spend 8x as much money on a new computer. But if you really wany a new wintel machine, then any one will do so long as its below your budget... you've used one Windows 8 machine, you've used them all. Wink
