Guiliver 1.6.4 won't launch

I've followed the install guide here https://www.dropbox.com/s/ud6wys5kfac2d0n/Gulliver164Installation_ForgeAutoInstaller.pdf?dl=0 to the letter and when I click play it just doesn't launch, the launcher vanishes and I don't see anything from it again. I'm using Java 8 the latest update I know I need to switch to Java 7 but I don't know how to do that :c

This link has downloads of Java 7 that you can use.

You need to find the right version for your Operating System. I'm making a presumption here, but guessing that you are using a 64-bit version of Windows, so you will most likely want the Windows x64 .exe from that page.

Once you have that installed, you will need to tell the minecraft launcher which version of Java to use. Open the launcher, and when it comes up, click on Edit Profle. At the bottom, it will have a "Java Settings" section, with the first entry being "Executable". Click the check box beside that, and then tell it where to look. It will most likely be here:

C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe

Save the profile, and try again.
