Do you want to activate 'Keep Inventory' for the server?

Hey Guys!! Ciabatta is willing to allow keepinventory on the server! Basically this means: Upon death, players will now not have their inventory taken away to their deathpoint! Players will now hold their inventory! BUT YOU NEED TO VOTE ON THIS PAGE!

As much as I hate taking the progression away from minecraft, and the risk of losing your items which makes the game fun... I have to admit that its kind of nessecary in a public gulliver server.
The amount of times people get squished accidentally when a giant roams around is silly xP and yes, replacing items when people die is irritating too I admit =P
Plus, it means we can do PvP gamemodes without worry, and do other dangerous activities without worry also =]
I vote yes to this, but I see why you wouldnt have it on too =P

hmmm...
Pro: no more loosing your stuff when you die.
Con: no one will ever worry about death. (unless they have buffs.)
Pro: we could have safe wars.
Pro: no more people complaining when they die.
Con: people will start acting more OP.
Pro: No thieves can steal your stuff if you die.
well, pros out-weighs the cons in my list, so yes.

Now, before I vote for the obvious 'yes', I must say something: Think of if someone went through your stuff. How will you know if they took your renamed diamond sword? You can't kill them to get it back. Just saying

If you suspect someone of stealing, we as moderators can check their inventory through the server files =] just ask

Welp, Captain forgot to set the poll to a week like I told him too. >v<
But well chances are we won't have any more brave, fearless and awesome people vote "no" between now and then, so I'm agreeable to an early activation of this travesty.
But I'm faaaaaaaaaar too disgusted to activate the game rule myself... I'd feel filthy for days.
So i will let Shadow do the honours, since he at least is able to explain this away as a matter of practicality... which is true. I'd expect a 15% decrease in whining after this enabled, which is always a good thing. ^^

Anyways Ill activate it in a bit then when I get on. However people, if you die I will not replace buffs under any circumstance if you get them its a risk youve taken, they dont cost all that much and dont affect you that much either so dont whine when you do lose them
If your worried about losing them because of another player buy them only when going on a dangerous activity like mining or exploring and such. Thats what they were initially used for.

Though everyone would love to have the Keepinventory on. I have to vote no.
Just think, doesn't this defeat the purpose of actually playing in survival? Minecraft is a survival game, you have to sometimes deal with it if you lost something in lava. Make it again! Get friends to help you recreate that item!
This is a survival server. That is why I vote strongly against having this gamerule active.

I agree to that, but with the amount of 'accidents' that happen due to PvP... it's either PvP, or Survival. We just can't have both without us mods receiving tons of grief and complaints.

I'm voting yes, because it would be a REAL pain to be small and have to travel all that way to get your stuff back(Unless a bigger player is available)on foot.
