Nickname plugin?

Hiya, I was just minding my own business, visiting other worlds, when, at the DRC spawn, I saw that they had the nickname plugin. So, I thought "Why not have it on this server?" and here I am. Well, I think that the plugin could help in a few ways.

First, and probably the most obvious, is the fact that it would help simplify RPing. It could help people identify each other, avoid confusion, and possibly create a more immersive experience. Also, people who would just want to change their name, or be identified differently, could have their name easily changed by the plugin (The name "TVguy" comes into mind...)

With this, however, we have to thing of the cons, and how they could possibly be fixed.
The first, and only, one that comes into mind for me would be confusion among normal gameplay. With everyone able to change their name at will, it would definitely be confusing to tell who's who. So, I thought it would also be a good idea to restrict the power to, say, deputy+? I'm not sure about that.
So, with that, I'll let everyone else decide if this is a good idea or not.

It's the reason we cant have that plugin here, because ironically we're a newer server... and hence presently incompatible with Forge Essentials.

However, there is some hope in the horizon, but given all the work that needs to be done to get everything up to date, nicknames are going to be way in the back burner for the time being.

Oh, didn't know that, oh well...
Well, I hope we get around to getting that worked out in the future...
