Hey folks, it's-a-me, Chicago.

I started work on a little guide of sorts for the memory-disinclined, and I'm coming to you all asking how to improve it, what to add, etc.

Basically, it's an in-game book containing some useful Gulliver info. Need to know how big to make that door? How high or far someone can jump? How far someone can fall before turning into chili? Then this is the book for you!

As of now, it's going to contain the following sizes: [0.125,0.25,0.5,0.75,1,1.5,2,3,4,6,8]. Mostly, this will be useful for builders who are getting extremely tired of having to call in others to model doors.

Now, my question to you is this:

What do you want in this book?

Anyways, if you're interested, let me know and I'll get you a copy once it's finished.

Chicago, signing off.

The necessary and optimal cosmetic heights and widths for doorways/roofs for 8x's and other giants.

I dunno what you're looking for, but here's this:
If your 0.8 or smaller, gold armor will slow you down, and you won't be able to jump one block heights regardless if your sneaking or not.

So, still updating it as I go, but I figured I'd post my progress so far.

Spreadsheet

Here's a spreadsheet with a bunch of data regarding various gulliver mod mechanics. There's a lot of interesting stuff in there if you look around. Poison 2 is less effective than poison 1 on smaller units, blocking with a sword works against trampling and squishing, and dynamite damage seems to cap out at a certain size. Feel free to take a look if you want.

Wow this is awesome and extremely helpful ^_^ I totally want this kind of thing so if im hunting giants or mobs I know what im up against xP

What would be useful in this guide that I think is needed are:

  • The different speeds when sprinting for each size
  • The amount of hunger thats restored with one (or more) types of food
  • The size range in which you can wear iron or better armour (I know 0.3 is the smallest you can be but not sure about biggest)
  • Potion potency at different sizes? (it increases the potency of potions the smaller you get, would be interested to see how much)

If you need help with any of this just ask =]

Spoiler:

Heya, thanks for the ideas! Tested food amounts and armor popoff ranges last night and updated the spreadsheet with them. I had an idea for testing speed as well, but that'll take a bit longer since I'll need to set up a server for myself to test on. Potion effect is already partially implemented, but it's only for a few different splash potions. I'll get the rest in eventually.

So, spreadsheet's been updated. Some areas early on have been fully completed, and a (rough-looking) section for durability testing has been added. Food testing's in towards the bottom.

Anyways, some interesting data in there. Raw potatoes provide 0 food at 8x. Mushroom soup seems to be one of the least efficient foods at large sizes. A cake restores the same amount of hunger regardless of size.

If anyone has any ideas on what else they'd like tested, please feel free to let me know!

Huh, those two are really interesting, I didnt know both of those facts =] that should be really helpful for people to know, if a little strange, wonder why potatoes do that? xD

So now I know, if I need to feed a giant, get some cake xP because cake is so filling, size doesnt matter xD
