Liteloader and Gulliver! It works!

To do this, first, download liteloader from here.
Now, run that installer. Chain it with minecraft forge 965. Then run the MC profile. After it starts, close it. Go into your .minecraft folder, then go into versions. Look for one that says LiteLoader1.6.4, and open the json folder in there, with any notepad program.(I recommend notepad++, it's free) Paste this text under "libraries".

Now you can run Liteloader, and it should start with gulliver! Enjoy installing litemods! Merry christmas! :3

You're welcome! I really wanted the mod Voxelmenu for gulliver, and I tried a couple methods before getting it to work. This also is compatible with your optifine guide, so no need to worry about issues with that.

I managed to do it, although the last bit I did a little differently since I don't want to divert people over to the Liteloader profile (it'll make troubleshooting a nightmare later on]. XD

Instead I took the same Gulliver JSON file as described in the Optifine guide, and added two things to it...

--tweakClass com.mumfrey.liteloader.launch.LiteLoaderTweaker 

...in the minecraftArguments, before the FMLTweaker, and...

...in the space immediately after the Optifine section previously added into it.  And that accomplished the same thing while keeping it nice and tidy within my Gulliver profile. ^^

Using this process, though, it may not be necessary to physically run LiteLoader the first time, but I guess I can try that out later.

I'm having difficulties, I tried both methods, I got the gulliver to work, but no liteloader, and I tried the first method, I kept crashing. >.< Can I atleast get help?

Well technically mine wasn't a "method" since I didnt describe how to do it yet. I was mainly just talking to Phoenix.
