Why on earth would we need a new chat system? I thought tabby-chat worked great!

It works great, but it also requires an additional installation process that some people continue to have problems with (even with my lovely guide). So if there's a way to offer in-game chat filtering without the need to install an additional mod (Tabby), then that would be great.

We would still recommend Tabbychat, though, as it also has support for server chat plugin channels, and could organize them nicely for people willing to install it.

Aye, Gulliver's isn't compatible with Bukkit plugins. Of you could find a Forge Essentials version, I'm sure it could be considered! ^w^

Would it be possible to have a chest locking plugin of some sort? I'm not too good with Bukkit, so I don't know which ones would and would not work.

As much as I trust people on this server, but after playing Minecraft for a while storing valuables without a lock seems a bit daunting. Maybe I'm just a bit paranoid.

I don't know if it possible to check the exact person who has taken from a chest, but even if someone does, chasing said someone down really isn't worth it.

We are not a Bukkit server; ergo, we cannot use plugins.  

Use an enderchest for major valuables, and once you become Veteran you are eligible to request a Safety Deposit Box for large-scale storage of valuables.

Ah. Sorry, I knew this wasn't a bukkit server as I read Flammole's post above. Worded that wrong. I'll be sure to use an enderchest, forgot about that!
