Pixelmon for next months mod!

Pixelmon is a mod which brings the world of Pokemon to minecraft! You can train hundreds of different Pokemon already added into the mod in the exact same way as the normal Pokemon game. By battling pokemon you find in the wild through the exact same turn based combat with hundreds of the moves from the game, you can level up and build your party up by capturing them and then battle against other players =]

I think this mod would be brilliant to have as a monthly mod, since it encourages interaction with other players moreso than other mods, since you can trade rare pokemon you find with other players and battle them for experience. Items like moon stones, potions, pokeballs etc can be traded too, which would be very helpful for people using the mod.

On another note, the pokemon models look AMAZING. you think "Oh its minecraft so its going to be made up of blocks" Nope! these Pokemon look like full 3D models and are exactly the same as they are in game if not better xP. See the screenshots below for reference.

It has a ridiculous amount of items from the game such as the pokedex, PC, Pokecenter healer, -tons- of pokeballs and items and lots more! Even the held items are there =] like the oran berry and EXP Share.

Finally, we could import a pokemon map like this Kanto reagion remake below, which could give us a whole, familiar world to explore ^_^

But yeah let me know what you guys think of this mod, ive been addicted to it recently so im sold xP and  I suppose your player.dat files could be given out at the end of the month so you don't lose your Pokemon =]

Hehe, well I cant say I'm a Pokemon fan, but this looks lik4 a great way to insert CustomNPCs next month as well, as you cant have a proper Pokemon experience without a few NPCs.

Yeah, a map I used had custom NPCs selling the pokeballs and other items to you (had to install that custom npc too). This is kind of needed since the only way to get them otherwise is by crafting them, which can take a while =P. Also its more similar to pokemon to use the money you earn to buy things from shops, so it would be good to set those up somewhere too =]

Yay!  I know a map with the five region! And interiors of important buildings! Other this is a good idea!

The latest version is 1.7 so you need to get an older to work with pixelmon

lol. last time i used that mod there was barely over 40 pokemon done. and all the sound effects sounded like a 11 year old kid recorded them. Nonetheless, it was still pretty fun to screw around with lol. (THROW MASTER BALLS AT EVERYTHING!)

oh, its about time we set up some opinion polls too. There's not much of a competition, I think everyone is excited about Pixelmon+CustomNPCs. ^^
