Problems with 1.6.4

So i just managed to download the littleblocks and slimevid and CustomNPC's mods and they're working fine, but then i see that little brother has updated to 1.6.4. So I get 1.6.4. but i try to open minecraft with that version, and it just refuses to open. Did i do something wrong or is it just my minecraft acting up. its not that minecraft opens and then crashes, it just doesn't open at all.

FYI, this is the Big Sister support thread -- the Little Brother support thread is below in the area called "Panic Button".  You also didn't read the memo on the official Little Brother forum thread OUR my blog about the LB flavor being temporarily suspended to host Gulliver v0.14.3 testing.  

In any case, if you updated to the latest Gulliver but still kept all the 1.6.2 mods in there, of course it's going to crash.  

To correct, simply choose the correct Gulliver 1.6.2 profile and play on Big Sister -- leave LB alone for now as you probably wont be able to contribute much to testing at this point.

I was aware of the little brother support thread, but given its name and description, I assumed it was only used in case of emergencies. As for the post, yes I saw that little brother was being used for testing, but I guess at this point I shouldn't have really bothered. And yes, I did change the mods to their 1.6.4 versions, duh. But I suppose you're right, I just won't bother.

There you go assuminh wrong again and we have to end up paying the price for it. As for why on earth you would keep the other mods in place when they aren't even in the test environment is beyond me, but at least you have your answer.  

Not really drama though, is it? We would have still been having this conversation, just in a different location.
