Aether 2 Mod

I've never played this mod, but some of the YouTube videos I've seen of it look amazing!

So I'm soliciting information on it, to see if it might be a viable flavor for Otouto (Little Brother).

If you can share anything you know about this mod, that'd be great!  

Aether 2 is a mod in which you build a glowstone portal, ascending to the heavens.

It is filled with new content, such as items, realm, npcs, and biomes.

The Aether uses its own tools, and in fact gives a new minecraft experience when your Diamond pickaxe fails before Skywood planks.

All in all, one of my favorite mods.

i know it is a really good mod as i played the original on 1.2.5 with clay soldiers, it is very fun and can be rather challenging but it also adds ALOT of new stuff aswell as new creatures aswell i would definitely recomend it

Well, I didn't know there was a sequel to the Aether 2 mod, but it sounds like a cool story. Can I have my free cheese now?

Aether 2.... such a great mod.... better than Gulliver but... dem zyphyrs...

Thank you all for your info and confirmation that this is a great mod.  I'm really excited about this one both for adventuring and building, since I love floating islands and stuff!
