New year LB

I was going through the forums and I realized- Hey, it's a new month and a new year- so we should get a new set of little brother mods! I was thinking we should do something related to the new year... or something else. Anyways, my point was that we need another set of LB mods.

Anyway, think its a bit too early to change the mods, especially since I'm quite entertained in this world (see all the exploring i did?). ^^

But i was thinking of perhaps doing a Cloud of Darkness or other comparable FTB server next time, seeing the success of Agrarian Skies.

Will lots of people talk to me about the next flavor of LB, but no one is actually posting about it (for shame).  

So instead I'll toss in my first two cents. ^^

Well i tried out Clouds of Darkness... it's very fun for people who love very tough, very long, very questy gameplay, but in retrospect it's not my cup of tea.  Plus I think it's mainly designed for singleplayer gameplay since, unlike Agrarian Skies, it doesn't have accomodations for multiple people.

So I was wondering if there was another exciting FTB multiplayer modpack that is compatible with multiplayer and can be very fun, with lots of new fancy gizmos to try out.  

And here I come!

What about redoing the february 2014 flavor?

Ars magica Thaumcraft Mystcraft and maybe some more magical themed mods? I remember having lots of fun with these mods back in february (And it was active too!)

It contains all those mods plus about a million other magic mods. Seems like a great way to do one massive magic melee, lol. XD

Okay, Coco and I tested out Magic World 2, and quite frankly... IT'S AWESOME! !! It does have Ars Magica and Thaumcraft, but that's the least of the additions. It's really a magical melee wonderland, with giant trees, ender people, and more sorcery than you can shake an apprentice wand at! XD

Oooooh! That list has twilight forest too! I love that mod XD

Maybe a pack that includes all of these like direwold on FTB?

Maybe even a Little Brother mod pack on Tekkit might be a good idea. Throw in all of the wonderful mods.

Ah, no Tekkit, please. Their team have been jerks to Mion, so I made it a point to not support them wherever possible.

Well thats fine, no one likes jerks.

Okay, well I think that's enough brainstorming.  

Well some LB mods or potential monthly mods please make a list of all suggestions thus far and make a poll to decide on this once and for all?  I think people are anxious to get their magic on. XD

I've never played little brother yet but... it's never too late. Lets start with a suggestion: Griomoire of Gaia+Morph Mod, the two work together (at least in 1.6.4) and you can practically become the magical mythical creatures.

Still not seeing anyone step up to the plate with this.  If no one will, Ill just wait till February to automatically set up the new flavor... and i'll pick it myself too boot.  ;P

Okay, so no replies from here, so that pretty much does it.  :/

I'm choosing Magic World 2 as the next LB flavor, and we'll launch that some time next week.  No monthly mods have made their campaigns, so we'll stick with the standard LB moderators.
