Hostile Earth Modpack

Just a modpack idea:
Above, storms ravage the land and life is dictated by the passing of the seasons. Below, miners run, coughing, from deadly poisons, their lungs blackened by the same prizes they sought in the earth and a single stray spark can spell doom for entire parties.

Mods that I'm considering:

• Glenn's Gasses
  
• The Seasons Mod
  
• Weather and Tornados
  
• Some sort of patch for W&T and The Seasons so I could modify storm occurrences for different seasons (Monsoon season here we come!)
  

Part of the concept is to not add any mobs or ore types.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas please feel free to comment.

Oh yes, not a bad idea. I've played with the Weather and Tornadoes mod and I personally thought it was great. Those other mods seem very interesting too, and I would want to see that on the server

Please be aware that the patch mentioned in my list does not exist and will not until I or someone else decides to code it. (and I don't know Java...) That said, I'll start playing with the mods together and make sure there aren't any compatibility errors. Also, Bran, if you happen to have a suggestion for any of the settings for W&T please let me know.

I never really edited the settings or anything for W&T, I just did default.


Cia, did you forget about Portal Gun mod? Or maybe I'm just being stupid and forgot you never said you'd add it to the list xP

Oh-hohoho, well I did say "as far as I can recall", meaning I'm liable to forget something.

In any event, the list is meant only as a reminder anyway -- you can't take my word for it because im just here as an advisor. You committee people have to hammer out the final list of 10 mods (cause the forum polls can only go up to 10 items). ^^

Sounds a cool idea
