Cia's Priority Matrix

Hello all,

In an effort to try and be more organized so I can get things out of the way faster, I've decided to start using a Priority Matrix for my server work, in an effort to start getting rid of the huge backlog of things to do.  A Priority Matrix is simply a TODO list stored in a 2x2 grid, with each cell representing a priority of varying degrees of importance and urgency such as Quadrant 1 (important and urgent), Quadrant 2(important, not urgent), Quadrant 3 (not important, but urgent), and Quadrant 4 (not important or urgent).

The twist here is that I'm sharing this with EVERYONE so there's full transparency over what I have planned to do and what I'm working on -- that way, especially since I'm lazy, some of you can help me keep focused on the things that matter most. ^^

I read through and I saw in Quadrant 1 that you wanted to be less in front of a computer. I have a tip since I had the same sort of problem. I got a FitBit. It tracks your sleep (also important so you can see what strategies work for falling asleep), calories burned that day, steps taken that day, staircases climbed and your heart beat per second! You can set step goals and it helps me to stay active.  Hope this helps!

I do actually have something older than a FitBit (a MotoACTV), but being active isn't a problem since I walk a LOT and generally have no problems sleeping anymore (since I left wheat) and even use a standing desk on occasion.  It's more a matter of the fact that my workplace is an all-computer place, and well my game time requires that I be on some kind of computer.

Really what I'd like is to have more natural pastimes, like traveling, working a farm, being under a nice warm sun with fresh water, clean air, lots of plants, and so forth, and doing tangible work like working wood or clay and so forth.  It's ironic that the more technology I've surrounded myself with, the less I seem to like it.  XD

Lol. I feel the same way about technology. When I step outside into fresh air I'm like: "Woah! It's amazing out here!" xD
I tend to pace when I'm thinking, so I often find it easier outside with the fresh air and the rustling trees. So peaceful. One of my favorite things to do. Just walk around aimlessly in my backyard or at a park xD
