Night Time Events
The idea is that every night, an event activates in which players must gather a certain amount of kills in order to gain a cheese prize. Scores will be counted on the side of the screen using the scoreboard system, and scores will reset each morning, and the event will end.
I have a working prototype up currently, which will give players a lapis if they get 70 kills each night.
Im planning, if possible, to randomize all different types of events that have a chance to activate every night, with all different objectives. These could range from killing a specific type of enemy a certain amount of times, mining and collecting a certain type and amount of ore or even strange things like crafting a certain amount of cake.
Anyone with knowledge on randomizing Redstone circuits i'm asking for help with this, as my knowledge with Redstone is very limited xP
Hopefully this system will prevent people from getting bored and give them something to do each night, if they are stumped on what to do. Maybe even going out in teams to work together and claim the prizes =].

So learned how to do a randomizer today, got everything set up all fine and dandy. Its all perfect and ready to complete....
Then found out that the stat modifiers for specifc player actions were not released until 1.7.2. Goddamn it.
So going to put this on hold until we get to that point, however long that will be ;_; but at least I know how to do it all now.
Remember kids, do your research beforehand.

Re: Night Time Events
So instead of random scoreboard style events, ive added a number of random effects that can happen at night, most good, but a few bad...
They are mostly potion effects that are not too effective as to avoid being annoying, and some even give special items out for players to mess with. I don't want to spoil what each does though, you'll have to wait and see =]
The night time mob kill event is still there as one of the options, along with its prize now working properly, so im not taking that awaY ^_^
Please post any problems you see or think of with this, and ill try and rectify it if need be, thank you and enjoy ^_^

Simon's quest was impossible without an internet guide. And I can't remember for the life of me what the message was when the night turned to day >_<
