The Special Events Catalogue!

Welcome to the special events catalogue!

Here we will be keeping track of all special days throughout the year. We will include the obvious ones like Christmas and Easter as well as some that are only celebrated in one country like The Polish Independence Day. We will also include in-game celebrations like for example Cay Day (When it comes around again).

Feel free to post any special days celebrated in your country down below.

The Catalogue

Anyway, don't mention Cay Day so casually, it's our most important server holiday eva!  

Cay Day ooccurs every May 17th, and likewise Mion Day every May 1st (although that one is just a minor observance, lol).

Our server anniversary is on October 15th. ^^

I have a ton to tell you, but they're not SUPER important.

More important ones:
Canada Day (July 1st)
Groundhog Day

Less, practically-useless-except-giving-everyone-a-day-off-from-work holidays:
Family day in British Columbia (February 9th)
Family Day in Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan (February 16th)
Islander Day in Prince Edward Island (February 16th)
Louis Riel Day in Manitoba (February 16th)
Nova Scotia Heritage Day in Nova Scotia (February 16th)
Heritage Day in the Yukon (February 27th)

Again, the only ones that are super important are Canada Day and (sorta) Groundhog Day, (Hey, they play the movie every year on that day) the other ones are just sort of optional...

EDIT: Here are some just slightly interesting ones: Left-handers day (August 13th), Talk like a Pirate day (September 19th), Universal Children's Day (November 20th), Bubble Bath Day (January 8th), Lost Sock Memorial Day (May 9th), and Victoria Day (May 18th).

Also, Canadian Thanksgiving is the same day as Columbus Day.

Oh god. Thats a lot of holidays I'll be putting ALL of them on as soon as im done with my stuff.

Aside from Halloween on October 31st, we also have Dia de Los Muertos in Mexico and other Latin American countries starting November 1st.

I'm probably gonna write what happened so far, like a calender so November 1st is probably gonna have to wait a little bit, but I WILL include it in the catalogue. Thank you to everyone who posted in their days, You should be able to see them when they come around.

This just in!  Per our commissioner Invisidragon (who is actually lurking about, lol), we can definitely include Burns Night on January 25th as a good holiday to observe.
