Winter Warfare or other Weapon Mods

I don't know about you but it's still cold enough where I live to warrant playing with a mod like this.

The winter weapons mod is zany, but I have heard of Balkon's before. ^^

Balkon's would be really cool paired with something like Millenaire or an RPG mod.

Millenaire seems more like a SMP mod to me, but I'll definitely look for a RPG mod to add.

Oh, Balkon's Weapons Mod is multiplayer compatible? I played love the gunpowder weapons added in that, and used to use them all the time in the Yogbox Modpack. If that's multiplayer compatible, I'll totally support it ^^

There're Bukkit installation instructions on the Mod page so I'm pretty sure it supports SMP.

Millenaire also has an SMP version too, though granted I don't know if it's as fun with people. But hey, that's what the Little Brother server is for. ^.^

Now comes the question, do we add Winter Warfare? I tested it myself, it's balanced as far as the weapons are concerned but the Mob AI needs work. I'll find out if I can stop WW's Mobs from spawning and remove the "Menorah cannon" (nothing against it, but it's out of season).

Well the last question is definitely one for the committee.  I think this arrangement has a chance to get on the polling roster for February, but make sure you all can hammer out the details first beforehand.  

There's no committee thread at the moment so this seems to be the best place to ask for ideas.   

If the mod creator doesn't get back to me within a day or two I'll just drop WW and stick to the two that I'm pretty sure will work. (On that note I'm gonna go make sure those work together.)

The mod creator got back to me about my concerns and, while the menorah cannon can be disabled through the config, the Mob tweaks will be in a later update. Glad to see that he's aware of the issues, but it'll probably be too late for February.
