I noticed that things can get a bit confusing with the whitelist applications section of the forum and thought I could suggest something that has worked for other forums in the past. Why not have each app be a thread post. That way it is easily found and can be critiqued there in the thread. It would take less time and stress on both parties with having to try and sort through all the posts, reposts, and the entire post quoted with their own addition underneath it all. If it was it's own thread then the app could be moved more easily into the archives as well if the person was approved or remove the thread if the person was rejected and showed no effort to correct or add to their app. Let me know what you guys think?

Hi Sarah, ^^

Thanks for the idea.  It may not be doable since we actually have two whitelist threads... One on this forum, and a sister site on the Minecraft forum where we won't have the luxury of breaking it out into separate threads...

http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/servers/pc-servers/739830-big-sister-gulliver-minecraft-server-whitelisted

So we'd prefer to keep things consistent.  Plus we carried over the singlr-thread format from Gunia's, and also saw first hand the failure of tracking a single-app-per-thread system on her end, so we haven't given this much thought to change.

Besides, we do maintain a server registry that keeps tabs of these applications, so at least we as staff won't have much trouble tracking them. Smile
