Guide to Hosting your Competitions
This thread is here so that you can announce and organize your own competitions on the server for people to participate in.
You could create anything from Horse Racing, Archery, PvP battle or even Trivia, in which players will compete against each other, following your rules and guidelines you set out in order to win big prizes. These prizes could be given out by the competition owner or pitched in as a bet by all of the players involved.
But to make your competition clear and easy to attend and follow, ive set up a guide below to help when writing an announcement on the thread. Some things you should include in the announcement are:
Overview and Nature of the Competition
Here you should say what your competition is about. you should include a brief description of what people should expect to do in it, and any other important info they may need.
Rules
Here you should state the rules of the competition in bullet points, from things like the banning of weapons, killing or any other actions that could hinder it in any way.
Prizes
Here's the interesting part. You state the prize (or prizes if you want to give players a choice) that players will gain upon winning the competition. You should state the enchantments of these items also here if there are any. A good prize to give is cheese currency, as its valuable to everyone =]
Time of Competition
Here is where you set the date and time that the competition will take place. Bear in mind that you should list both GMT (Europe) and PST (America) times to cater for timezones. use this chart to help you:
http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.co.uk/time-zone/usa/pacific-time/convert/
And that should be all, I hope you guys host some good competitions and have doing so on the server =] make sure you check here in case one pops up, you could win yourselves some awesome prizes ;]

I liked to host TF2 challenges lol. Free game on top of that lol. If i can get my game to NOT crash when i host a server anymore, then it will be all that much easier.
