Hello all,

It's my sad duty to announce that Chicago has decided to retire from his position of Commissioner on this server, and Minecraft involvement in general, as it has no longer become feasible to balance gaming participation with his RL work responsibilities. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone NOT to put their server particiation over real-life needs as it stands contrary to the values we hold dear on this server. I applaud Chicago for not permitting our creations from becoming a liability to his health and prosperity.

As a testament to all his extensive and valuable service, he will continue on the staff in-spirit as an Honorary Deputy.

On behalf of all of us here, I wish him the best of luck on all his future endeavors!

I am pleased to announce that KingKing, recognizing a lack of participation and an inability to address this at this time, has willingly agreed to relinquish the title of Commissioner and assume a less-commital Deputy role. He wishes to continue helping the server, but with the freedom and survival-centric gameplay that is best available to the Deputy staff member, and personally I feel this is the greatest match for him. As one of the last of the Old Guard of Gunia's staff members, he has certainly demonstrated to be one of the most esteemed, devoted and noble of them all!

I want to thank King for being proactive and responsible in this decision, and I hope to see him properly enjoy his stay here when he returns.

King isn't going anywhere, he's still here albeit not as a commissioner. But regardless, we do wish them happiness.

It is my pride and privilege to announce that Cordelia (Coco) has been promoted to the prestigious rank of Moderator, a move long in the making!

Cordelia is more than just the clever, skilled, intelligent, no-nonsense, bunny-loving master builder that we know and adore. She is more than the person who near-singlehandedly built one of the largest and most elaborate 8x mansions as a normal player, and who then founded Harendelle, one of the largest and most beautiful cities on the server. She is more than just the person who built the second-largest structure on the server, only to completely destroy it to start-over for the sake of artistic integrity. She is more than just the person who writes application reviews with academic precision, or who clamps down on lunacy and indecency on the server fearlessly and efficiently. She is more than just the person who builds lovely homes for her fellow players, wonderous transportation networks to link everyone together, and lush gardens to pretty up a landscape. She is more than just a friendly colleague of mine who's opinions and input I value; one who overcame her initial shyness and the varous attempts at Swarming by unruly players, to grow into a stronger, more outspoken, more communicative individual. Indeed, even Cordelia herself knows she is more than all of this, if not she wouldn't constantly seek to challenge herself, and push the envelope of possibility to bring about good things for all of us, including herself.

In fact, she is the thing that legends are made of, and it's my privilege to request that you offer Cordelia the opportunity to be a Moderator on our server, so she can expand her horizons of what is possible, and truly share with us all the commitment, devotion, inspiration and unbridled potential she has generously offered us for all these months we've known her.

Cordelia was voted in through a parliamentary-style staff election featuring an 83% voter turnout, with 10 votes in favor and two abstains.

I want to thank everyone who directly or indirectly helped Cordelia achieve such a remarkable milestone!  
We truly wouldn't be where we are now without her!

Hello all, 

It is my sad duty to report that due to new and very important obligations IRL, Audrey has chosen to step down from her Commissioner rank and resume her role in our staff as server Deputy.  

Audrey was not only one of our first "proper" Deputies on this server, she was also my very first "Bread Knight"... an old pseudo-class that served as a kind of prototype to today's ranks.  She's filled her duties and obligations to the best of her abilities despite her age.  And she certainly knew when to step in to help and support us, and myself, during times of need.  She is not technically "retiring" from staff duties so she will return from time to time; but I hold no expectations, neither from her nor anyone, that our server will ever trump the necessities of life.  

I wish her the best in her RL training and in building a wonderful future for herself!  Thank you for all that you've done to help us, and protect the safety and security of our server that you've loved so much since the beginning!  ^^

I wish you the best Audrey, I hope I still see you around!

• He's active on the server and the forum
  
• He's a pretty good builder
  
• He made a helpful program in finding name changes
  
• He's also nice and helpful on the server

Hello all,

Due to greater study requirements this semester, Miisaka has requested to take administrative leave until she can return to resume her duties as server Commissioner.  Until then, she has agreed to be temporarily demoted to a Deputy status to hold her place on this server.

I wish Miisaka all the best of luck, and hope that she gets through the year with superb grades and many dreams accomplished. ^^
