Don't worry as I don't intend to punish you, and depending on how his reply is I may not necessarily bar him from joining. It's true that what he said was immature and rude, but you also shout a curse or obscenity here and there (and sometimes I want to reach in through Dynmap and slap you silly for it), but otherwise you've been a fairly decent player. Not that I won't encourage you to stop (because I prefer you guys don't push your luck, especially when there are so many minors on this server), but so long as you guys are willing to put the effort to make things right (for example, coming here and publicly apologizing before everyone), I don't see a reason why we can't coexist.

I may take you up on your offer on capping friend referrals however, because as you probably know by now, getting more people in is not our main objective. I don't mind a small server population so long as its comprised of good people who behave well, and who I can trust to be left alone with our buildings, our valuables, and of course our minor players.

Alright so every other mod goes and points out every single little detail that's good or bad with your app and yeah no i'm not doing that.
IF you need praise about your app the formatting is nice and makes it stand out at a glance, and every requirement for the app to be whitelist material was met so yeah, you're in.

2. The reason i want to play on the server is because ever since the Gulliver Mod came out i always wanted to play with other. But I couldn't until i found this website.

3. Me and my friends always play mine craft when we get a chance.

4. I like Dogs and Cats, My favorite Nintendo character is Bowser, I got a nephew and niece, mine craft is my favorite game, and my favorite game is Super Smash Bros Brawl.

I'm sorry, I'm too tired at the moment to do a proper app review,... even so, I can tell you now it's not going to make the whitelist since it's too short, is not properly formatted, and you demonstrate in some places that you didn't read instructions, especially with Questions 3 and 5. I am really good with explaining things, helping others, a VERY good builder (especially with modern things), and am very polite.

I find it a bit ironic that despite also copying and pasting the application instructions and mixing your replies therein (making it EXTREMELY hard to read), you still failed to answer questions 2 and 3 correctly and with the required word limit.

2.Well the reason i would like to join this server is because as before i always wanted to play the gulliver mod with other people. I tried to join the other server that is now shut down but couldn't because at first i was stupid and didn't know how to download mods, and when I learned what to do…both I couldn't download it at the time and it was shutdown. But now I have a chance to with this server.

3.I like to help people when they need it. Im not the guy who's like "oh hey that little guy needs to get up there, I'll throw him up there then he'll die from fall damage." thats not me. I'll help people when i get the chance.

Question #2: Ah thats' good. You'd be surprised how many people write applications before they can even install the mod. In your case, I'm glad you took all necessary precautions to guard against this. Wink

Question #4: The Minecraft facts are not really that compelling since we already assume you like Minecraft and the mod to some degree. SO I'll only count three of them.

Shane, from the facts, formatting and spelling, I have to ask the question... how old are you now? I'm not sure if you're hacking is anything recent, or you're talking about something that happened years ago.

In the meantime, please consolidate the application into a single submission, and use the opportunity to remove things we dont need (the Mojang account email), correct some mispellings and tighten up the formatting in your last half (and also pick another fact besides "My name is Shane", since that's kind of obvious). Wink

Otherwise, the application isn't half-bad, just not getting the vibes I'm looking for. >v>

I know that kids can be remarkable computer geniuses so it's not impossible for you to join some kind of cybercrime unit... not that I can confirm if this is an official police unit, a community project, or some game, but that's not the point of our application so I'll leave this aside as an interesting factoid.

In any event, let's resume...

Question #2: Alrighty, well thank you for thinking of us as an "awesome" community -- admittedly I don't think we have the volume and cohesion to be a proper "community", but it's not the first time we've been told that. In any event, I think you'll find a lot of like-minded (and like-aged) individuals, so you should feel right at home.

Question #3: We're always looking for good builders, and people who can help complete towns and their infrastructure.

Question #4:
a) haha, by the time you're old enough to work there, they'll be as relevant in the tech world as AOL. Smile

b) Android programming, which is Java-like, would be a good knowledge investment.
c) oh noes! well some things really shouldn't be eaten, so hope she watches out.
d) That would be interesting. We have the Little Brother side server to test out alternate mods and such. Smile

e) The pen is mightier than the sword. ^^

Question #5: It's an older rule, when Spawnington was the only town, so this can apply to other towns as well. And one important thing you admitted was that you can carve a home so long as it doesn't destroy the outward appearance of the houses. So my advice would be to stay underground, especially the sewers. Smile

Question #6: correct!

Verdict: Despite a few loopy things (especially the "fruit oops" image, lol), the application is not bad and is complete and comprehensive enough to net you a whitelist. You'll be whitelisted shortly. Wink

Very well, I'm satisifed with how the two of you have followed up on this issue. For the time being I'll chalk it up to "boys will be boys"; but never forget that you'll be sharing the server with minors and other people who may not take well to lewd content. If I catch you pulling something like that again, I'll kick you out faster than you can say "tough luck". Wink

Anyway, now that we have that out of the way, let's get to an actual app review for a change...

Question #1: I guess we'll call you Billy Bob

Question #2: Well, we're certainly no 200 person server, but I think there's plenty of action even with 10-15 people, especially in the afternoons. Players still get noticeably bored (they usually whine out loud "IMMA BORED!"), but what they're really trying to say is they don't have anyone to talk to -- people who appreciate Minecraft for what it truly is have a hard time getting bored, since they don't treat the game, and my server, like a glorified Skype chat. ;P
Anyway, although you reference your friend, it's really more of him referring you to us... which I can certainly accept since you feel you can meet other good people here.

Question #3: Well you did demonstrate you're not into fighting or stupid arguments in that you didn't defend your offensive statement -- other lesser players who have done the same thing have [tried to] fight tooth and nail to defend the sanctity of their idiocy. So yeah, Imma gonna believe that. ANd we can always use creative people that are laid back (and not stuck up). Smile

Question #4:
a - Ah good, I would recommend getting a Chromebook and taking up the challenge of unlocking its full hidden potential.
b - Wow, now that's a dynamic sport.
c - Oh, one of those killing games. >v>
d - Nice! I used to take care of some fish when I was younger.
e - Make sure they're not breaded chicken wings. Smile

Question #5: That's a good safe rule. If you find some public crops ravaged, I might tap into your "helpful" claim and have you replant those for me. It's hard for me to keep track of so many territories on our server map, so I need good people to fill in for me.

Question #6: And correct.

Verdict: As suspected, your app meets all the minimum requirements to secure a whitelist. Granted this was not possible right-away due to the... incident... but as a result of it, I have an assurance that you're at least willing to stop doing something bad when told to, and you don't shy away from apologizing (even if it's in public in front of all these people, which some individuals are positively allergic to).

Reason to join: well, I do enjoy Minecraft and I am interested in the Gulliver mod. Never tried it, so I figured I would give it a try, and why not try it out on a dedicated server for it.

Talents/Skills: I have been playing Minecraft for a few years now, and I have build some nice houses and such. I rarely play on a server, so this would definitely be interesting.

Reason to join: well, I do enjoy Minecraft and I am interested in the Gulliver mod. Never tried it, so I figured I would give it a try, and why not try it out on a dedicated server for it.

Talents/Skills: I have been playing Minecraft for a few years now, and I have build some nice houses and such. I rarely play on a server, so this would definitely be interesting.

Hello Ip_daily2,

I'm Miisaka and I will be reviewing your application. I'll go through each of your questions one by one to determine if you should be whitelisted on the server.

Question 1: Everything seems alright here, and the use of an underscore for separation is helpful.

Question 2: That's understandable, Gulliver is a fun mod especially with multiple people involved. However if you haven't tried it before, what would happen if you didn't like it? What in particular do you find interesting about it, and with other Gulliver servers out there why specifically did you consider joining us? That's the answer we're looking for with this question.

Question 3: Hmm, a little bit on the short side here. Your answer is also a little generic as well. Remember this question isn't also just limited to your Minecraft experiences. You can also tell us a bit about your personality, or how you would want to contribute to the server. You also stated you rarely play on servers, why is that? We don't want to whitelist people who will just pop in one time and then leave if the server doesn't appeal to them.

Question 4: Down to the facts. The organization of facts is alright, however there are still other problems here. These are a little short word wise, but the biggest problem is most of these don't really tell us anything about you.

This is your opportunity to let us know anything interesting about you specifically, your moment to shine and stand out from the rest. After reading these, I didn't really get that feeling. I'll go over them and tell you what's wrong below.

Fact #1 - Nothing really wrong here, though you can probably expand upon it a bit more. What are their names? How old are they? Is it safe to say you love cats? etc.

Facts #2 & 3 - These tie into each other, so I don't really consider them separate facts.

Fact #4 - Awkward about what exactly? We don't bite Razz

unless it branches off into the next fact. If that's the case, I would put them together. Even then, it's best to ditch this one and put something more specific.

Fact #5 - I'm sorry to hear about that, but it still doesn't tell us anything specific about you. Our younger players are in the same situation, so you should fill this slot with something else.

Question 5: Everything is alright here.

Question 6: Cheese alone would suffice, but still good ^^

Overall, I cannot recommend you to be whitelisted with the application in its current state. However, you do have another shot at resubmitting it once again if you correct the mistakes listed above. The organization is not too bad, but it falls flat from lack of charm and individuality. You need to add more personality and character to really flesh this out.

I'll probably also add... what in the world were you doing riding a car at 130mph?!! Unless it was on the Autobahn, but then you'd be using kph. Setting aside the fact that you could've killed someone, yourself or at least gotten a ticket, I can't help but consider that abnormally reckless and thoughtless. >v>

I thought my app was pretty straight forward and yes it had generic answers, but i stand behind what I wrote.
